More than 40 companies and hundreds of volunteers and Print companies are collaborating to make Canada Blooms a success. This week’s Canada Blooms festival features a 9,000 square foot display of more than 4,000 kalanchoe plants and many other trees, shrubs, annuals and perennials. The Landscape Ontario event is scheduled to be held at the Direct Energy Centre in Toronto, ON during March Break week.
Along with the 40 companies and generous volunteers who worked around the clock to prepare this year’s masterpiece collection are a variety of Print companies in the Milton, ON and Toronto, ON areas advertising and covering the Canada Blooms week. Local Print companies have not only been involved in advertising the event, but also in publishing photographs of the festival’s garden, providing exhibitor information and advertising and publishing newsletter information.
Thousands of horticulture specialists are expected to be on hand this week and speak to local Print companies in Landscape Ontario’s headquarters in Milton, ON. In addition to displays, Landscape Ontario and its horticultural professionals offer workshops and classes for students interested in the landscaping industry and horticulture in general to upgrade skills. In the summer, students can apply what they have learnt in locally advertised environmental projects.
This year’s Bloom Festival, covered extensively by local media, will feature 20 foot willow trees, dwarf trees, shrubs and evergreens, a reflecting pool as well as a waterfall. Materials and plants used in the high profile event will be recycled into other projects.
