Since there are many cats, dogs and other animals that have no home of their own in Milton, Global Pet Foods wants to make a difference, and is holding its 8th annual ‘Show Us Your Heart’ fundraiser, which will make it easy for people to help.
The company will began February by accepting donations that will go to support local animal shelters and other organizations that help homeless and abandoned pets. This is a vital source of funding for them, as many are staffed by volunteers and do not receive any sort of government support. They therefore have to do all of their fundraising on their own.
Making a contribution is very simple. Anyone visiting a Global Pet Foods location can make a donation of $1, and the company will match it. People can also give by going online and visiting the Globe website.
Since 2006, Global has raised over $570,000 to help out homeless animals in need. This has made a big difference in helping to provide for them and finding them a place to live where they will be loved and cared for.
