Holiday village to light up Milton

The Country Bright holiday display is coming to Milton, offering visitors a chance to explore a rustic village full of lights.

The display will combine the classic holiday lights display with a walking tour of southern Ontario’s heartland. Country Bright encompasses tens of thousands of lights across displays, tunnels and interactive screens. The path runs 0.75 kilometres and is entirely outdoors. Festive music will play throughout.

To avoid congestion, visitors are required to book a time slot in advance for their walk. Popcorn, cookies and hot beverages will also be on offer, with the attraction's goal being to present “the charm of a winter country festival”.

On display at Country Bright will be ice sculptures, giant snow globes and other items designed to create a North Pole environment. Other items will aim to recreate the feel of a frontier town around the holidays, complete with barns and woodcarving shops. The attraction aims to share visitors with nearby natural attractions like the Bruce Trail, Rattlesnake Point Conservation Area and Halton County Radial Railway.

Seasonal attractions such as this often pop up in the countryside at this time of year, using colourful banner printing and roadside Signs to draw in visitors.

Country Bright will be located at Country Heritage Park in Milton. The attraction will launch on December 2 and will be available for visits until January 2.
