The Hops & Harvest Festival will take place in Milton this October, aiming to combine local food and drink with the beauty of the Niagara escarpment.
The festival will feature over 40 small businesses and artisans, including microbreweries such as Backed by Bees, MVP Brewing CO., and Wellington Brewery. There will also be local eats in the form of Casaligo Burger, Super Churros, Twiss Farms, and more. As well as this, there will be a musical stage with local artists playing in a variety of genres. Past Hops & Harvest events have featured acts such as Darren Hancock, Hayley Verrall, and legendary cover band the Practically Hip, and this year’s line-up will be announced in the weeks leading up to the event.
The 2023 Hops & Harvest, the 5th annual edition of the event, will also see the debut of the Kids Zone stage, featuring family-friendly entertainment acts and games throughout the weekend. Outdoor fall activities, including wood branding, lawn games, hatchet throwing, and boat rentals will be on offer throughout the festival grounds. The festival is hosted by Conservation Halton with the goal of highlighting the Niagara Escarpment area. Festivals such as this, often promoted through inexpensive tools like flyer printing and word of mouth, can provide huge opportunities to local businesses.
This year’s edition of the Hops and Harvest Festival will take place at Area 8 in Milton from October 13 to 15.
