Milton bargain hunters may wish to mark their Calendars for an upcoming event that has been planned for the area.
This will be the first ever community yard sale to be hosted by the Milton Community Resource Centre (MCRC), and it will give families a chance to stretch their budget as far as possible. There will be a huge assortment of gently used goods to browse through, and it is expected that more than 50 vendors will be on site for the day, selling everything from clothing to furniture, toys and other treasures.
Along with the sales area, there will be a special section set aside for the younger set. The kids’ zone will give the children in the crowd an opportunity to be creative. They can have their faces painted, add their own artistic skills to a mural painting project, carnival games, water play and much more.
Proceeds from the day will be used to help support the MCRC’s initiatives for local families. Any items that fail to sell can be donated to a local not for profit group. Promotional Signs and other marketing material for a fundraiser such as this can be supplied by a Print company.
