Women's conference to showcase entrepreneurs
The 6th annual Power of the Purse women's conference is taking place in Hamilton this June. Proceeds will go to support the Native Women's Centre.
The conference is set to host seven speakers, including Merri McCartney, Dr. Laura Gravelle, and Carolyne Rashford. These women will be sharing the stories of their lives and their careers. Attendees will be treated to a continental breakfast and lunch. In addition, over 30 women entrepreneurs will be selling their merchandise in a vendor marketplace. It should be a great chance for some business owners to make their names known in the community.
There will be plenty of opportunities for those women attending to network with one another during breakfast, lunch, and at the marketplace. In order to make it easier for these Hamilton entrepreneurs to keep in touch, many who plan to attend will be placing a new business card printing order ahead of the event. They will want to make sure that they have enough cards to swap with those they meet, that their cards are in pristine condition, and that any contact information included is up to date and correct.
