Upcoming event is part of Pan Am festivities this year
The 46th annual It's Your Festival is taking place in Hamilton over four days.
This year, several of the events associated with the festival are part of Kick It Up ,which is a celebration of the upcoming Pan Am Games and runs until July 26. This event attracts approximately 150,000 visitors each year.
Four stages are set to host a variety of entertainment, such as folk dancing demonstrations, the Rise 2 Fame Youth Talent Search, and the Aboriginal Men's Circle Drum. Some of the musical guests who are confirmed to appear at this year's festival are The Trews, the Russ Wilson Group, and Lizzy Boredom.
Other events taking place during the four days include the Viva Pan Am Hamilton Soccer Tournament and the Pan Am Baby Contest. There will also be a spelling bee, bubble soccer, pony rides, and puppet shows. In addition, the midway will provide lots of carnival rides and games.
No doubt there will be something to appeal to everyone in the family during the four-day festival. Hamilton print companies may be asked to provide advertising materials to help spread the word.
