Mark your calendar on March 26, 2012, for the first-ever day-long conference to recognize Hamilton’s top businesses. The gala event, A Celebration of Businesses in Hamilton, will combine three business award events into one, and will be held at Hamilton’s first luxury boutique hotel, Chotel by Carmen and Carmen’s Boutique.
The fabulous networking opportunity and chance to share business success stories is hosted by the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce, Hamilton Economic Development, and Small Business Enterprise Centre.
The first scheduled event is the City of Hamilton’s Salute to Small Business Luncheon, at CHotel by Carmen’s, from 1:00 – 5:00 pm. The keynote speaker will be Ron Buist, the former marketing director of Tiim Hortons, whose inspiring, thought-provoking presentation is entitled, “Tales from Under the Rim”.
Running concurrently from 4:00 – 5:00 pm, at the same location, will be the Hamilton BIA Awards Reception and Luncheon to honour businesses located in Hamilton’s Business Improvement Areas.
Immediately following these events will be the Outstanding Business Achievement Awards hosted by the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce. Participants will be treated to a dinner and gala at Carmen’s Boutique, next door to the CHotel by Carmen’s on 1520 Stone Church Road East.

A number of different ticketing options are available for the different events. Please note that participants must be a member of a BIA to attend the Hamilton BIA Awards Reception.
