Seniors set to celebrate in Hamilton this spring
This spring, a Hamilton event will show the world that you are never too old to have a great time.
A celebration designed to kick off next year’s Seniors Month with a bang is expected to be a highly attended event. At the last event, there were 85 exhibitors, and their displays, products and services were seen by a crowd of more than 1,000 attendees.
This coming year, the organizers are expecting that there will be more than 80 exhibitors, and they will offer information about a variety of subjects that may be of interest to older adults. Healthy living, safety, social services and other support are just a few of the topics that will be included, and with live entertainment and complimentary refreshments, the planners are hoping it will be as fun as it is informative.
The Older Adult Network of Hamilton is hosting the event, and it noted that there may still be spaces for additional exhibitors to come aboard. The contact for the group, Lisa Maychak, can be reached at 905-546-2424 (ext. 1721) to discuss this further. Business cards and marketing items for this type of occasion can be ordered from a printer in the local area.
The 2021 Seniors Kick Off will take place in Michelangelo’s Event & Conference Centre on May 26th. The doors will be open for attendees from 10:00am until 2:00pm.
