A function taking place in Hamilton next month will help fans of orchids to realise that there are species that may not be as difficult to care for as first thought.
Whether they are native plants like lady’s skippers or exotics like vanilla, the Orchid Society Spring Show and Sale will be all about this group of plants. It will include plenty of displays, and growers from all across Canada and even the USA will have entries to view and enjoy.
As well as the displays of live orchids, guests will be able to enjoy a variety of photo and art exhibits related to orchids, and visitors can even stop by the sale area where they can pick up one to add to their own collection. They can also learn more about how to properly take care of this new addition to their home, and there will be lots on offer to choose from.
