Hamilton venue hosts 50th annual Festitalia

The Hamilton community has a proud Italian heritage, which will be celebrated at an upcoming event.

The Hamilton Italian Centre is a community centre that hosts various local events throughout the year, including the upcoming Festitalia 2025.

For 50 years, the Festitalia has been Hamilton's way of celebrating the region's Italian heritage, with unique events occurring both inside and outside the facility. The expo has four key pillars: arts and culture; sports and leisure; food and beverage; and history and local roots, with exhibits and activities for attendees of all ages. While most activities at the festival are free of charge, some require a pre-purchased ticket, such as the David Rocco Al Fresco Garden Party Dinner.

Festival attendees can explore the vendor marketplace, watch sports demonstrations while participating in games, enjoy live music and indulge in culinary treats. Visitors can also document their experience at the photo booth station, or try their hand at some of the crafts in the family section of the event or showcase where their family is from by adding to the heritage map.

Tools like flyer printing help event organizers communicate to attendees where and when different events are occurring. This can be especially important at events like the Festitalia, which has so many activities occurring both inside and outside of the facility.

Festitalia 2025 will take place from June 21 to 22nd at the Hamilton Italian Centre, located at 420 Crerar Drive. Additional information about the festival can be found on the event’s website.
