Autumn’s arrival means that many Hamilton gardens will be showing off their fall flowers, and a local festival will make chrysanthemums the stars of the show.
As Ontario’s largest chrysanthemum-related event, the annual Fall Garden and Mum Show will extend the horticultural season and inspire local households to discover the joys of gardening for themselves. It is being hosted thanks to the efforts of city staff, and it will be on offer at Gage Park Greenhouse.
The function will boast at least 200 varieties of chrysanthemums, and over 100,000 flowers will be on display. These will be grown at the venue, and the public can enjoy browsing through all the indoor arrangements. There will be more than 20,000 square feet of display space, and parking will be free of charge.
As in previous years, the show will include a pop up vendor market. Spaces may still be available for booking, and full weekend, both weekends and full show options are on offer. Business card printing services for a company taking part in such an event can be sourced from local Print shops.
This celebration of the floral beauty of a fall will run from October 4th to October 13th. Each day will open at 9:00 am and wrap up at 5:00 pm, and more dates will be released as its date draws closer.
