Hamilton parents offered seats in upcoming course
Being a parent can be one of the toughest jobs out there, and an upcoming course will offer Hamilton parents with young kids a chance to learn, connect and form a support network.
The Ron Joyce Children’s Health Centre offers a variety of programming, and one of its initiatives will give parents information they may find helpful in raising their children. The Circle of Security Parenting course will be geared towards moms and dads with kids from age six months to six years, and there are eight sessions in the series.
The learners in the workshop will address a variety of topics, and it has been designed so that they will walk away better able to form a strong relationship with their child. There will be video clips, group discussions and other activities on the agenda, and the attendees will be encouraged to connect with one other. Tickets can be booked via the Hamilton Health Sciences website.
Workshops and other learning activities like this one may be enhanced by offering the participants handouts and educational materials. These can be prepared by stationery printers based in the local area.
