Hamilton feeds local foodies desires

Food and wine lovers from across the region are invited to visit an event in Hamilton that will feature all that the area has to offer.

The Food and Drink Fest 2016 will offer tasting of Ontario VQA wines and also those from around the world. Along with this, there will be samples of spirits, gourmet food, craft beers, teas, desserts, and specialty coffees. Those who enjoy producing their own taste treats will be able to try out marinades, sauces, and spices and perhaps add them to their own pantry shelf. Promotional Drinkware can be paired with these different gourmet items and offered for sale, or included in gift baskets that can be used as door prizes at events like this.

This is the 11th year for the event, and eateries that will be taking part come from all over the region, including Hamilton, Oakville, Burlington, and the Niagara area. They include traditional-style restaurants as well as food trucks, wineries, breweries, and even individual chefs. Along with all of this, there will be live music and cooking demos, and non-perishable food donations will be accepted for the Foodies for Food Drive to support local food banks.

The expo will take place from April 22 until April 24 in the Hamilton Convention Centre, which is located at 1 Summers Lane. Those who wish to find out more about the Food and Drink Fest are invited to visit the event’s website.
