A group of volunteers are working together to present a late spring celebration to Hamilton’s older adults.
The city has scheduled its Seniors Kick-off Event, which will serve to begin its month of activities for seniors. While it originally started out as a small celebration, it has since grown to be one of the community's signature events.
Hosted at Michelangelo’s Events and Conference Centre, the function will welcome everyone, but advance registration is required. Light refreshments will be served to the crowd, and there will be a variety of vendor tables to visit, as well as presentations that address topics such as health and fitness, financial matters and other subjects. It will run for three and a half hours, and the organizers are hoping it will attract a large number of visitors.
The organizers have noted that this celebration would not be possible without assistance from a group of volunteers, as well as financial support from the area's corporate community. The Logo Design of these sponsors has been included in many of the marketing materials prepared for the day.
