Apples are being harvested in orchards all around Hamilton, and an upcoming workshop will turn some of this bounty into tasty apple pies.
The Dundurn market is a popular local source for fresh produce, and it will provide the local apples that will be the basis for Joyce of Cooking’s baking class. It will be taking place at the market, which is found on South Hamilton’s Dundurn Street, and it will be a family-friendly event.
The group will learn how to make their pie from scratch, and they will be able to take their dessert with them to bake at home. The group will shop for ingredients ahead of time, and this may help the kids that take part to develop a greater appreciation for where their food comes from. All of the materials and equipment will be provided, and everyone will receive a complimentary drink.
A cookery class can be a lot of fun for a parent and child to attend together. Chefs hats, aprons printed with a company’s Logo Design and other kitchen gear can all be provided by a Print professional.
Parent & Kids Fall Apple Pie Making Classis scheduled for Saturday, October 7th at Dundurn Market, located at 346 Dundurn Street in South Hamilton. It will begin at 1:00 pm and wrap up at around 2:00 pm.
