Hamilton area to learn benefits of horticultural therapy

The Royal Botanical Gardens is a Hamilton area institution that offers a variety of learning opportunities, and one of these will be focused on the benefits of horticultural therapy.

Many find that working with plants proves to be very therapeutic, and the two days of training that will take place at the Royal Botanical Gardens will be a deep dive introduction to horticultural therapy benefits. The skills that will be taught can be used both indoors and out, and there is a variety of topics on the syllabus for the occasion.

The learners in the workshop will discover the therapeutic qualities of different species of flora, and writing proposals, goal setting and evaluation will be discussed as well.
