Glanbrook to honor citizens and business at annual event
The Glanbrook Community Awards are taking place this March, after nominations closed on February 7. It is a presentation of the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce.
The event will feature a networking cocktail reception, sit-down dinner, and the awards presentations itself, as well as a keynote speech delivered by MP David Sweet.
The awards to be given out include Citizen of the Year, which pays homage to volunteer or professional activities that benefit the community. Other awards include Youth Volunteer (aged 19 or younger) and Business of the Year.
It should be an excellent networking opportunity for Glanbrook and Hamilton area business leaders. Many who are planning to be there will likely be investing in business card printing services before attending. That way they will know that they have enough cards to exchange and that they have the most up-to-date contact information possible.
Everyone will have a chance to talk with the nominees and winners, to find out what they have done that made them candidates for this award, and how they themselves can aspire to have the admiration of the business community.
The Glanbrook Community Awards will take place at Binbrook Fairgrounds on March 1 from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm. For more information about the event, such as ticket prices, contact Whitney at 905-522-1151 x100.
