The Dundas Community Awards dinner pays honor to citizens and business that have contributed greatly to their community.
The Hamilton Chamber of Commerce presents the awards, the winners of which are nominated by the public and by their business peers. The categories of the awards are: Citizen of the Year, Youth Volunteer of the Year and Business of the Year.
Those eligible for the Youth award must be aged 19 or younger. In order to qualify for Business of the Year, a company has had to promote volunteerism and community services and should have leadership qualities and possess the ability to make those outside the community aware of their business. The firm’s owner must also be a resident of Dundas.
The dinner will likely attract business leaders from all over the Dundas and Hamilton area. Many of those attending will be arranging for a new business card printing order in advance. Business Cards are a great way of making a good impression on potential clients and associates. As such, each person will want to ensure the contact information printed on the card is current and correct and that the cards they plan to exchange are in pristine condition. There will be plenty of time to talk business over dinner and to exchange cards.
