Butter tarts to star during Hamilton celebration
Butter tarts are a sweet enjoyed by many, and these small-but-tasty treats will be the stars of the show during a Hamilton summer celebration.
The city will be hosting an instalment of the For the Love of Butter Tarts festival, and along with the pastries, there will be lots of other excitement on offer. Carmen’s Banquet Centre will be the location for the festival, and everyone is welcome to come out and enjoy this Southern Ontario tradition.
Along with the chance to eat butter tarts, which will be prepared in an assortment of styles, the function will give local small businesses an opportunity to shine. The public can do some browsing and buying, all while meeting members of Hamilton’s corporate community, and the run time for the function will be six hours.
Tickets are $5 at the door, but they can be ordered ahead of time, and those who opt to do so will have their names entered into a draw – the prize being free butter tarts for a year.
