Downsview to host annual Pumpkinfest Toronto

This fall, an event will be taking place in Downsview Park that has been organized to be fun for the whole family.

At Pumpkinfest Toronto, the Pumpkin Express will be running, taking visitors throughout the event. There will also be a baked goods sale and a harvest Farmers’ Market, as well as a princess meet and greet. Visitors can try their hand at bull riding, or take part in the kids’ costume contest, while the adults can show off their creative side in the pumpkin carving contest. Car buffs can enjoy the Antique and Classic Car Lane, and there will also be a midway and even pumpkin bowling. Graphic design can be used to create a wide variety of decorations for an event such as this.

When it is time for a bite to eat, there will be plenty of food trucks from throughout the city to choose from, and visitors can visit the pumpkin patch to select a pumpkin of their very own to take home with them.

Kids are invited to come in their costume, and each child who does will be given a free bag of candy, so long as supplies last.

All of this will be taking place at Downsview Park from October 8 until 10. Both parking and general admission are free. More information can be found on the event’s website.
