One of Downsview’s biggest events, the Veld Music Festival, will be back this summer, bringing the best in electronic music to Toronto.
The festival will feature three days of DJs, singers, and electronic groups. Featured performers include Charlotte de Witt, Above & Beyond, and KX5, made up of Deadmau5 and Kaskade. Each day will feature a unique lineup and also its own theme days to inspire outfits and fashion, including Y2K, Enchanted Forest, and Thunderdome.
This will be the 11th edition of the festival, which is organized by INK Entertainment and includes over 50 dance and electronic acts each year. In addition to the beats, the festival will also include artistic activations and activities like kandi-making and Veld’s signature Ferris wheel. The festival grounds will also include food and drink vendors offering cold drinks street food ranging from pizza to shawarma.
Performances will take place across three stages: the Mainstage, showcasing the biggest acts; Sirkus Stage, focused on techno and house music; and Bass Stage, dedicated to bass-heavy subgenres like dubstep and trap. The stages will feature LED screens, fireworks, and other visual effects to make vibrant memories and photographs. Eye-catching concert images are often used in flyer printing and social media posts for future festivals.
The 2026 Veld Music Festival will be held at Downsview Park from July 31 to August 2.
