The Careers in Aviation Expo program will return to the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) this April, aiming to highlight careers in Downsview and other nearby areas.
The one-day expo will begin with a keynote presentation by Porter Airlines Vice President Brent Card. Other main stage presentations include topics like The Growth of Toronto Pearson Airport and Inside MHI Canada Aerospace. Attendees can also take part in breakout sessions with topics such as piloting, airline operations, and aerospace engineering.
Visitors can also network with potential employees and business partners in breakout sessions, an industry lunch and on an exhibit floor. Expositions like this can be valuable to professionals at all career stages, with many using resume and business card printing to help prepare for the event. Exhibitors confirmed for the event include Brampton Flight Centre, Northern Lights Aero Foundation and Spectrum Airways.
The GTA event will be one of three Careers in Aviation Expos hosted across Canada this year, accompanied by events in Vancouver and Calgary. The metro area is a hub of air travel and engineering in Canada, with historic airports in Downsview and Toronto Island. The expos focus on fixed-wing and rotary-wing aviation careers, with commercial and military options, and target graduating students and young professionals.
The 2026 Careers in Aviation Expo will take place in Mississauga at Pearson International Airport on April 11.
