The city of Surrey is hosting an Environmental Extravaganza until June 9 and several events are scheduled to take place in the city throughout the next few weeks.
On May 18, guests are invited to take part in the Bird Walk at Surrey Lake Park from 9:00 - 11:00am. There are also a couple of events taking place on May 20. The Little Campbell Watershed Bird Count will take place in the morning, and refreshments will be served. The Rocha Spring Festival: Hidden Treasures - Species at Risk will take place from in the afternoon. There will be plenty of family activities on offer, including river walks and seminars. Both events will take place at the Brooksdale Environmental Centre.
The Freshwater Fisheries Society will be offering angling lessons at the Green Timber Urban Forest Park on May 22, this will take place in the evening. Lastly, there will be an Owl Prowl on May 23 at the Surrey Nature Centre, also in the evening.
Organizers of these events are likely working with Surrey printing companies to help raise awareness in the community. This could involve investing in flyer or poster printing services.
