Maida is known for being the lead singer and songwriter of Our Lady Peace, while Kreviazuk is a Juno-winning singer songwriter who has collaborated with some of the biggest names in music. The pair have been married since 1999 and have collaborated as the group Moon vs. Son and others.
The show is part of the “I’m Going to Break Your Heart Tour”, named after one of the duo’s hits. The set list will involve songs from both artists’ individual careers such as “Clumsy” and “Surrounded”, as well as collaborative works and storytelling. Advertising for the show states that the duo are known:

The I’m Going To Break Your Heart tour will visit 18 Canadian cities this fall, with Penticton among the first following other British Columbia performances in Vancouver, Chilliwack and Vernon. Concert tours like this often use methods like flyer printing and radio advertising to help attract local music lovers.
Raine Maeda and Chantal Kreviazuk will perform in Penticton at the Cleland Community Theatre on September 17.
