The festival will be headlined by legendary hip-hop group Public Enemy, who were recently inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Other hip-hop artists include G-Eazy and Haisla Nation duo Snotty Nose Rez Kids. The Canadian alternative sound will be represented through Bedouin Soundclash, best known for their hit “When the Night Feels My Song”, while reggae will be showcased by Bermuda’s Collie Buddz.
Other performers include Honestav, Alpha Centauri, and DJ Invizible. The festival is also designed to highlight community artists, vendors and restaurants. Food trucks and vendors include Indian Biztro & Pizzeria, Ogopogo Mini Donuts, and Punk Rock Pastries. The festival marketplace will also offer merchandise by brands like Dirty Laundry and Okngn Vybe-Lyfe.
The True Rhythm Festival will also include activations from Okanagan Party Co, a “glam” photo booth, lawn games and more. Music festivals like this often use banner printing and participatory activities to help create a strong atmosphere. Advertising states that:

The inaugural True Rhythm Festival will take place on August 29 at Okanagan Lake Park in Penticton.
