The Healthy Kids Fair returns to Burnaby early next month, with health and wellness information for parents and playtime activities for young children.
Celebrating its 15th Anniversary year, the Healthy Kids Fair was designed for parents of newborn babies and children up to five years of age. Parents are invited to bring their young children with them to the event.
Mothers and fathers will be able to speak one on one with healthcare professionals about their child’s growth and development, nutrition solutions for fussy eaters, and health and wellness issues. There will also be an opportunity to visit a preschool classroom and meet other families local to the city.
Young children will enjoy experiencing the classroom, with art and music activities, a face painting station and a snack room. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
The fair gives an opportunity for parents to collect resources, such as Brochures and Calendars, from local establishments and services in the city that provide programming for preschool children.
The fair will be held on Tuesday, March 6, from 9:30 to 11:30 AM at the Cameron Recreation Complex located on 9523 Cameron Street. More information is available by calling 604-297-4453.
