Art lovers from the city and surrounding area are invited to take in two new exhibitions that are being held at the Burnaby Art Gallery.
One of the shows features works by photographer Scott Massey, and is entitled ‘Unstable Ground’. It contains photographs of the cosmos and the earth as it travels through space.
An opening celebration for this exhibit was held on April 18th, which included a picnic and enjoying the stars. It will run until June 21st.
The second show that is being held is the 2015 installment of the Arts Alive program. It contains artwork created by students in School District Number 41. Further, it has a theme of ‘capture the moment’ and was inspired by the Capture Photography Festival. It will be open to the public until May 17th.
Along with these showings, the gallery is offering a variety of programs and classes that will complement and build upon them. They range from Gallery Talks and tours, to family nights, programs, and workshops designed for home learners between the ages of 6 and 17. Brochure printers can produce all the printed materials that those who participate in the programs need.
