Model train expo to be held in Burnaby

Burnaby fans of scale model railways are invited to make tracks for an annual event that can inspire them to build the track layout of their dreams and opportunities to purchase items they need to make their vision a reality.

The Western Rails Show, which is billed as being Canada’s largest show focused on railroadiana, is scheduled to roll in to Burnaby this March, bringing with it a wide selection of vendors, clubs and individuals who love model railways. Admission for adults starts at $8, and a special discount is being offered to students, seniors and families.

Those who attend will be able to browse through vendor booths and other displays, and there will be sellers, buyers and people who would like to swap equipment and other supplies. There will be operating layouts of model tracks and trains to enjoy, and the atmosphere of the event will be welcoming and friendly to all.

Hosting an event like this can give a club a way to showcase itself to the community and to other clubs. A well-crafted Logo Design can be added to materials the organizer uses to market events, and this can be prepared by a printer that supplies Graphic Design Services.

This event, taking place at the Cameron Recreation Complex, will be held on March 24th. It’s been brought to the community thanks to the efforts of the West Coast Railway Association.
