Now that it's November, the holidays are not far away. There are always plenty of family-friendly activities to enjoy in Burnaby, capturing the excitement of the season. One of the most popular is the Heritage Christmas display at the Burnaby Village Museum.
Heritage Christmas involves several light displays which make the buildings, bridges, trees, and sidewalks of the museum more festive for the holidays. It also features a large illuminated Christmas tree, eco-sculptures which will be draped with lights throughout the grounds, illustrated storybook scenes featuring such characters as Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, demonstrations of how things were created in the early 20th century, a scavenger hunt, seasonal entertainment, and a Christmas display by the Miniature Club of BC.
Children and adults can ride the carousel for $2.30 each. There will also be the chance to speak to Father Christmas, so all children will need to be on their best behavior, and there will be many hands-on activities in which to take part.
It is likely that organizers will be working with Burnaby printing companies to prepare for this popular annual celebration. Flyer printing services can provide an effective way of advertising the event to those in the community who are unaware of it or do not realize it is coming up again so soon. These Flyers can be distributed in a variety of ways.
Heritage Christmas will take place at the Burnaby Village Museum from November 24 to January 4, 2013. Admission is free. For more information, call 604-297-4565.Get a Free Quote for Flyers
