Halloween ghosts in early in Burnaby

With Halloween creeping up on us fast, there will be several spooky events held at various Burnaby recreational facilities from October 25 - 27. They will help everyone in the family get ready for this popular holiday and all of them suggest guests wear a costume.

The Halloween Haunted Mansion Spook Fest will take place at the Eileen Dailly Leisure Pool and Fitness Center on October 25 from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm. The entire family will be able to tour the haunted house and also get in some swimming. Admission is $2.86 or $1 to tour the house only. For more information, call 604-298-7946.

On the same evening, the Halloween Howl will take place at the CG Brown Pool on from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Admission is $2.86. Activities will include games, a haunted house, and treats. More information on this can be found by calling 604-297-4525.

Moving forward to October 27, the Halloween Hoopla will take place at the Bill Copeland Sports Center from 12:30 pm - 3:00 pm. Activities will include face painting, ice skating, crafts and games. To find out more, call 604-297-4521.

Finally, and also set for October 27, The Cameron Howler will take place at the Cameron Recreation Complex from 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm. Admission is free but the donation of a non-perishable food item would be appreciated. No doubt the various venues will be working with Burnaby printing companies to inform the community about these events, with local flyer printing and distribution a strong possibility.
