A local choral group is gearing up for its 40th anniversary later in the year and to celebrate, it will be holding a concert in Burnaby.
Burnaby will hosting the special concert which will be celebrating 40 years of music by Amabilis, and it is been described as having a high octane line-up of songs that will be performed. They will range from contemporary works to opera. The choir has invited all interested parties to attend.
To help make the concert as big a success as possible, a selection of singers will lend their talents to the occasion. Fans of the group will be able to enjoy some of their favourites, and tickets can be purchased from choir members or at the door on the evening of the performance.
The organizer of this musical evening explained that former Amabilis members who would like to get involved are welcome to do so, and there will be a series of rehearsals before the main event. Stationery printers will be able to supply this sort of reunion with keepsake programs and other printed materials that can be kept by audience members as souvenir of the experience.
