Date set for Burnaby pop-up flea market
Burnaby households that are doing some spring cleaning will soon be able to turn their trash into treasure by booking a table at a local pop-up market.
The community has set the date for a flea market that may be a boon to bargain hunters. It will be filled with gently used merchandise, and there are more than 50 tables available.
The market will be set up in three different sections of Confederation Community Centre, and the sellers may choose their location when they register. Each person will be able to reserve one table, and they are asked to remain on site throughout the event. The coffee bar will have refreshments available for purchase, and everyone who plans on selling is reminded to bring lots of change, including coins and small bills. Car seats, retail and multi-level marketing merchandise, as well as perishable goods, are not permitted for sale.
A flea market may be fun for buyers and sellers alike. A flyer printing company will have an assortment of ways to market an event to the public, and its staff can provide assistance in choosing the ones best suited to an individual customer’s needs.
