Burnaby workshop to teach wreathmaking

The participants in a Burnaby area workshop will have a chance to express their creativity when they learn how to make some festive pieces of holiday decor by hand.

Darts Hill Garden Park has scheduled two wreathmaking classes to help kick off the holiday season, and while the crafters work, they will be invited to sip on some refreshments. Many of the plant materials used will be sourced right from the garden itself, and tickets start at $16.93 each.

Those who choose to register for the activity have been provided with a list of materials to bring or, if they prefer, they can purchase them on site. They will also need to supply a pair of secateurs or sharp scissors, as well as a pair of sturdy gloves and a ruler. The classes will be held outside of the Maple Activity Centre, and each can accommodate up to eight people.

Learning new skills can be a lot of fun, especially when there are others to enjoy the experience with. Workshops like this one provide this sort of atmosphere, and a flyer printing company will be able to aid in spreading the word throughout the community.

The Christmas Wreath Making Workshops planned by Darts Hill Garden Park will take place on November 24th and December 4th. Both sessions start at 11:00 am, and anyone who is interested can sign up now.
