Burnaby webinar to explore assistive workspace tech

An upcoming Burnaby Lunch and Learn session will help point the way to a more inclusive employment environment.

Marketing Manager Nate Toves will be sharing his expertise when it comes to workplace accommodations, and all residents of British Columbia are encouraged to check it out. Everyone who registers will receive a voucher for Skip the Dishes, and this can be redeemed for lunch or another meal of their choice.

The half-hour webinar will explore a variety of assistive technology that has been designed to make a workplace more friendly to those who have physical and developmental challenges. Possible funding streams and other resources that can help to support these measures will be reviewed, and there will also be demonstrations of some of the equipment. The function is an initiative of the Neil Squire Society, and it is being offered free of charge.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, many events like this have had to be offered online. If the organizers of online events collect the contact details of the attendees, they may be sent information packages that include resources, such as Booklets, which can be prepared by a brochure printing company.

Nate Toevs will be sharing his insights when it comes to creating an inclusive workplace on December 16th. It will take place online and will include details about the WorkBC ATS program.
