Burnaby Village Museum to open for spring break visitors

Burnaby families that are planning their spring break activities may wish to add a local event to their Calendars.

Burnaby Village Museum will be opening its doors for 12 days in March, and an assortment of activities have been planned for that time. The blacksmith will be working at his forge, and will be able to answer questions from the public about his work. The schoolhouse and general store will also be open, and the carousel will also be in operation and offering rides to the guests.

Kids who come to the museum will have an opportunity to make a craft to take home with them. Admission will be free at the gates, and the carousel will be providing rides for a price of $2.65 for each rider. To help visitors get the most from their experience at the museum, an Adventure Guide has been published. These can be purchased by anyone who would like to have one for $6.00 each. Items like this can be crafted by an area printer that includes binding as one of the services it can provide to its customers.

This early opening for the Burnaby Village Museum will be held from March 19th to March 30th. Anyone who is interested in finding out more information about the activities or the museum itself can do so on the Hello BC website.
