Burnaby to hold springtime skating session

Burnaby adults and kids alike are invited to head down to a local ice rink that will be welcoming the change of seasons with a spring skating session.

The Bill Copeland Sports Centre has scheduled an afternoon of active fun, and admission starts at $2. Those who are aged three and under may enter at no charge, and it is a special instalment of the Burnaby Toonie Skate program.

Those who participate in the occasion will receive the use of a pair of skates, as well as a helmet to keep everyone safe should they fall. Along with time out on the ice, the organizers will be offering face painting and crafting tables so that the kids in the crowd will be able to take home a special souvenir of the day. Parents are asked to remain on site with their minor children.

A poster printing company will be able to make members of the public aware of offerings such as this one taking place in their home towns. They may be prepared using graphic design techniques to make the Posters pop.

The Bill Copeland Sports Centre will open its doors for the Spring Hop Toonie Skate at 1:45 pm on Sunday, March 19. The fun will keep going until it is time to head home at 5:00 pm.
