Burnaby seniors to enjoy holiday luncheon

Seniors of Burnaby are invited to join together for a special luncheon that will celebrate the holiday season.

The Christmas lunch, which is set to be hosted at the Kitsilano Community Centre, will give seniors a chance to mingle with old friends and make new ones too.

The guests will be treated to a meal of turkey with all the usual trimmings, and soup and salad will also be served. The diners are asked to remain seated, as the food will be brought to them, and the self-service drink station will not be in use.

Tickets to enjoy the feast start at $10, and attendees are asked to begin checking in five minutes before the scheduled start time for the activity. Social distancing measures will be in place throughout the event.

This past year has been a difficult time for many of Burnaby’s seniors, and a luncheon like this will give them the opportunity to enjoy themselves safely. A festive banner can be the final touch that makes this sort of gathering feel special, and a local banner printing company would likely be happy to provide one.

The Senior's Lunch will be welcoming diners on December 16. The lunch will be kicking off at 12:00pm, and everyone who would like to attend is encouraged to secure their tickets now.
