Burnaby photo buffs who have some basic knowledge of photography have been invited to attend a workshop that will help them to take their skills to the next level.
The University of British Columbia is home to the Nitobe Memorial Garden, which is a traditional Japanese-style garden. It will be the location for the Nitobe Garden Photo Walk, and it can be found just outside the city of Vancouver.
The class will run for four hours, and it is intended for those with an intermediate knowledge level of photography. Brett Michaud and Ted Karlsalr will be the guides and advisors for the occasion, and they will be sharing the skills and knowledge they have acquired. The participants will find out how to scout for a great location to take their pictures, and a variety of filters and lens types will be covered. The event is intended to be both intensive and fun, and the registration fee is $220.
