Floral industry insiders, and the general public as well, will soon be offered a special tour.
PROBUS Club of Vancouver Activities Committee will be hosting a tour of the United Flower Growers Warehouse. The venue can be found at 4085 Marine Way in Burnaby, and Bob Pringle will serve as the guide for the visit.
The activity is expected to take about an hour, and once it is finished, there will be time for questions from the group. Everyone will need to be on their feet and walking for most of the session, and as the facility will be in full operation, the participants will need to stay alert during their visit, as there will be wagons and other equipment in use. Afterwards, coffee will be available for purchase at the nearby coffee shop.
When they arrive for their tour, the registrants can find the gathering point by following the signage posted. A banner printing will be pleased to lend a hand to event planners by preparing Signs and other items that may be helping in keeping an activity like this organized.
The tour of the United Flower Growers Warehouse is on the way for Tuesday, August 15th. While it is free to attend, anyone who is interested has been asked to register ahead of time. It will begin at 10:00 am.
