A Burnaby area venue that plays host to events throughout the year will soon be providing space for a special craft expo.
The talents of local artisans and crafters will be on full display during the Fall Handcrafted Expo, which will be hosted at Surrey’s Agriplex Cloverdale Fairgrounds this October. The function will be spread out over two days, and it will be held just in time for the start of the holiday gift-buying season.
The market will be celebrating its first year, and the goal is for there to be at least 100 vendors on site. Admission to the pop-up is $6, and a special discount will be offered to anyone who purchases early bird passes before September 21st.
The planners of the weekend have put out a call to area crafters and other makers who are interested in connecting with local shoppers, as well as food truck operators. Businesses that reach out to a local printing services company can obtain the printed materials they need to take full advantage of a sales opportunity such as this one.
The very first Fall Handcrafted Expo will be kicking off the holiday shopping season on Saturday, October 22nd and Sunday, October 23rd. The planners may be reached via email to discuss the opportunities it can offer to area makers.
