Burnaby horticultural club to host pop up plant sale

The South Burnaby Garden Garden Club gives those who enjoy getting their hands dirty an opportunity to meet with, and learn from, their fellow green thumbs, and it has an activity on offer for the public.

The group will be running its annual plant sale this May, and it will have lots of transplants and their ways to get a jump start on the season. It will be open to shoppers for four hours, and the venue for the activity will be 7405 Royal Oak Avenue.

The club will have a wide selection of plants available, and annuals, vegetables, herbs and perennials will all be in the mix. The attendees can ask the sellers questions and those who arrive early will have access to the best selection. There will even be flowering shrubs available for purchase, and the plant will all have local provenance.

A plant sale can be a fun way for a gardening club or other group to both raise funds and introduce itself to the public. A banner printing company can produce weather resistant signage for an outdoor activity.

The South Burnaby Garden Club will be hosting its annual plant sale fundraiser on My 4th. It will be open from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm, and additional information for anyone who has questions one would like to make a donation is available on the club’s website.
