Hair stylists who have a shop or work in Burnaby, and who would like to add to the list of skills they can offer their clients may want to be sure they do not miss a training opportunity on offer at West Coast Beauty.
Tressa Yanchuk has created a day of learning that will centre around different ways a stylist can create a look that includes blonde hair. There will be opportunities for hands-on participation by the students, and it will cover technique, client interaction, and marketing using social media.
Hairline painting, processing, toning/formula, and tool selection and use will all be discussed during the day, and the pupils will discover ways they can better communicate with their customers. Styling for photography sessions will be on the agenda, and the learners will be encouraged to ask questions and share tips with the group.
Advertising using social media will be one of the topics covered in the workshop. When combined with traditional Print advertising, such as Flyers from a flyer printing company, this can prove to be a highly effective way for a company to spread the word about the products and services it has to offer.
West Coast Beauty will be hosting this activity on May 13. It will run from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm. The registration fee is $300.
