Burnaby event bring thrills and chills

An annual Burnaby event will soon be adding some frightful fun to the Halloween season.

The award-winning Pumpkins After Dark event will boast at least 10,000 pumpkins, all of which will be carved by hand. It is billed as being a one-of-a-kind walk-through experience, and there will be lots to see and do for the attendees.

As they stroll the paths lit by a variety of jack o’lanterns and other luminaries, attendees can meet a variety of costumed characters, including dragons, dinosaurs and classic Halloween characters. Music and other sound effects will be in the works, and the function will be family friendly. The displays will all be new for this year, and live pumpkin carving demos, treats and plenty of photo ops will all be on the agenda too. While the venue is accessible to those who require a mobility device, they are advised to bring a friend, family member or attendant with them.

The Halloween season often sees events hosted after dark. A banner printing company can be tasked with preparing appropriate décor for such events, for example creating fluorescent options that pop under UV light.

Burnaby will welcome Pumpkins After Dark 2025 starting on Friday, October 3rd. It will continue on until October 31st at Swangard Stadium & Central Park. Tickets are on sale now via Showpass.
