Those who own or manage a company in the construction sector may want to attend an upcoming workshop in Burnaby that will offer tips to help them craft effective proposals and other documents.
The seminar will focus on five areas, and it will be filled with actionable advice for creating scope documents, as well as reports, proposals, emails and letters, and it is now open for registration. Eric Tung, who is an instructor at Simon Fraser University, will be sharing his expertise, and it will be a full day of learning.
During the workshop, the learners will discover just how important writing effective documents can be, and they will discover ways to ensure the items they prepare are geared to their specific audience. The goal is for each of the students to walk away with a deeper understanding of how their writing represents their company.
This class is currently scheduled to be an in-person event, and a variety of learning materials will be used. Print shops can be counted on to prepare printed manuals, handouts and other items to distribute during this sort of function.
The workshop is being organized by the Construction Industry Training Network, and it will take place on April 7th. Space at the Accent Inn in Burnaby has been booked for the occasion.
