Burnaby class to explore natural haircare

A Burnaby area learning session will soon be teaching members of the public how they can have beautiful hair using naturally sourced ingredients.

The Multipurpose Room at the Kitsilano Community Centre will be the venue for a hands-on workshop that will see participants create shampoo, conditioners and other hair treatments. The materials fee is included in the registration price, which has been set at $55.58.

This activity, which is for those aged 19 and over only, will involve using herbs, honey, hibiscus and other ingredients to make shampoo, deep conditioning treatments, conditioners and haircare bars. A scalp soother that uses castor oil will be prepared, and the facilitator will explain the benefits of each of the blends. Centre members and non-members alike are encouraged to participate in this event, and it will run for two and a half hours.

The All Natural Hair Care workshop will be a ‘make and take’ event. Planners of such events often choose to order cards printed with tips and instructions to distribute to the participants in a particular activity, and these may be ordered from a local flyer printing company, along with any other marketing materials that are needed.

This introduction to the benefits of all-natural haircare is set to take place starting at 6:30 pm on March 3rd. It will wrap up at 9:00 pm.
