Burnaby class planned in time for Mother's Day

A hands-on chocolate making class has been planned with Burnaby moms in mind, and it will teach some of the basics of working with this popular ingredient.

Drunken Chocolate will be offering a workshop that will explore the ins and outs of tempering chocolate, and everyone will go home with a set of these treats to give to their mom, along with a special box. The event’s release explained that it may also be a fun idea for mothers and daughters to attend the function together, and tickets start at $82.97.

The activity, which is intended for those age 16 and up, will be led by a chocolate expert. The materials used will be vegan friendly and nut free, and everyone will be able to practice their artistic skills when they hand-decorate a box to hold their creations. The activity’s run time is two and a half hours, and everyone who registers is asked to make sure they arrive on time.

Attending a culinary or crafting workshop together can be a fun idea for Mother's Day. A flyer printing company will be able to offer an assortment of ways of marketing such a function.

The Drunken Chocolatier, which is located at 108 223 West Broadway in Vancouver, will be offering its Mother's Day Chocolate Workshop on May 7th. It is scheduled to begin at 9:30 am.
