The Burnaby Board of Trade holds two annual business events which recognize local businesses. This year he Burnaby Business Excellence Awards Hall of Fame and Nominees Luncheon will take place at the Hilton Vancouver Metrotown on October 6 from 11:30 am until 2 pm; the luncheon costs $60 for members of the Board of Trade and $80 for non-members. Mayor Derek Corrigan will present the award inducting a Burnaby business into the Burnaby Business Excellence Awards Hall of Fame. Those businesses that are inducted into the Hall of Fame are businesses that “have demonstrated outstanding business success over many years.” The nominees for the 12th annual Burnaby Business Excellence Awards which will take place on November 2 will also be announced at the luncheon.
