Community and business leaders alike from Burnaby are invited to take in an event that will celebrate the city and all it has to offer them.
The annual State of the City luncheon will see up to 300 of these people who help to keep the area’s economy thriving will come together for a chance to network with one another and hear the latest plans for the city from Mayor Derek Corrigan, all while enjoying a meal.
The function is being hosted by the Burnaby Board of Trade, which considers it to be one of the highlights of its yearly calendar. It will be offering its ambassador program to help build connections between those who are new to the community and those who are well established. The luncheon is scheduled for April 26th and will be held at the Delta Burnaby Hotel and Conference Centre starting at 11:30 am and running until 2:00 pm.
