For the past 35 years, the Neil Squire Society has helped Canadians who have physical, mental and developmental challenges. This Burnaby organization has planned a celebration to mark the occasion, and members of the public are encouraged to join the fun.
This special event, which has been dubbed ‘Party in the Parking Lot’, will bring together the group’s supporters, clients, staff and other stakeholders to pay tribute to the work it has done over the past three and a half decades. It will also give the public an opportunity to learn more about its efforts and the technology it uses, and this is just the beginning of the fun that has been planned for the day.
Each guests who RSVPs will receive vouchers they can redeem at the food trucks that will be rolling in for the occasion, and as the celebration will be taking place just across the street from the Gilmore Skytrain Station, it will be easy to access by public transit. Rain will not be a concern, as if needed, tents will be available to keep everyone warm and dry.
Those who register to participate in this pop-up party are asked to bring along either a paper or digital copy of their ticket to present upon arrival. Themed decor can make an event like this even more special, and a banner printing company will be able to offer lots of options.
This event, which will be held in the Neil Squire Society Parking Lot, has been planned for June 21st. It is scheduled to take place from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm.
